Semester Blog Project: Public Libraries and their Communities

This blog will chronicle a semester long project on public libraries and their communities. I will do different searches in different types of databases, search engines and social media on the topic of public libraries and their communities. Each blog post will focus on a different database, and the topic will be tweaked as needed depending on the database. The blog posts will all have the same format. There will be a screen shot of my search strategy, as well as one of the top or best hit. I will then discuss one content based item that I learned about my topic and one searching tip that I learned about the particular database. Then, I will briefly reflect on my experience of searching for my topic area in the database.
